Filippo Ponzetti

Biography

Filippo Ponzetti, 45, has a degree in architecture at the Polytechnic of Torino. From his early age he has been influenced by the work of his father, a recognized illustrator and advertising art director, spending his days in the midst of creativity, brushes, pencils and airbrush sprinkles. Since then he developed his passion for photography, developing kilometers of Ilford film in his bathroom, turned into a camera oscura at night, where he experiments all techniques of black and white film development and printing. This remains his passion even after the introduction of digital photography.

As soon as computers were able to visualize colours he becomes addicted to them and develops a profound knowledge and mastery of computer graphics. Since the beginning he has understood the enormous creative potential of digital tools and regards them not as an enemy of personal expression but a fantastic instrument to play with his creative concepts. He is passionate about motorcycles and cars.
